The Partnership

Context

Hardware meets software. One of Europe's largest high-performance-computing infrastructure providers brings world-class physical infrastructure to the table; aion brings the cloud layer.

World-Class Physical Infrastructure

The provider operates a fleet of liquid-cooled, high-density data centers across multiple regions, housing thousands of NVIDIA H100 and H200 GPUs. With NVIDIA Elite Partner status and some of the continent's largest GPU clusters, they bring world-class infrastructure, power, and cooling.

Capacity Locked Behind Hosting Engagements

High-performance compute at this scale was previously only available through dedicated hosting engagements — out of reach for AI teams who need self-service, programmable access rather than colocation contracts and hardware procurement.

aion Brings the Cloud Layer

aion combines this enterprise-grade bare-metal GPU infrastructure with its software-defined provisioning, orchestration, and billing platform, giving AI teams a single interface to discover and consume high-performance compute.

What We're Building Together

Approach

Four integration pillars. aion is working directly with the provider across select data-center regions hosting H100 and H200 clusters to bring their inventory online — deep, stack-level collaboration spanning networking, provisioning, identity, scheduling, and monitoring that turns physical capacity into cloud-native, programmable infrastructure.

Bare-Metal Onboarding

aion integrates directly with the provider's hardware environment, mapping physical GPU nodes into aion's orchestration layer so they can be discovered, allocated, and consumed through a single API and console.

Kubernetes-Native Orchestration

Using aion Research's bare-metal Kubernetes offering, GPU nodes are enrolled into managed clusters. End customers run containerized AI workloads on dedicated hardware with zero virtualization overhead, while aion handles scheduling, networking, and lifecycle management.

Multi-Region Rollout

Capacity is brought online region by region, starting with the highest-density H100 and H200 sites. Each region goes through a structured onboarding process: network segmentation, security hardening, GPU-driver validation, and monitoring integration before going live.

Unified Billing & Metering

All provisioned capacity flows through aion's billing layer, giving end customers transparent, usage-based pricing through a single platform experience.

A Repeatable Onboarding Playbook

Each pillar is delivered as a discrete integration milestone, so every new facility brought online follows the same playbook — from network segmentation through GPU-driver validation to monitoring integration.

What This Unlocks

Outcome

Three perspectives on the same infrastructure. The partnership creates value across three distinct audiences, each getting something they couldn't easily build or access on their own.

For AI Teams

Enterprise-grade, liquid-cooled H100 and H200 bare metal, provisioned in minutes through aion Research, with managed Kubernetes or raw bare metal depending on the workload. No colocation contracts, no hardware procurement, no infrastructure overhead.

For the Data Center Provider

aion opens a new distribution channel, bringing GPU capacity to a broader market of AI builders, research teams, and enterprises through a self-service platform, complementing their existing go-to-market motion.

For aion

The partnership deepens aion's GPU supply network with high-density capacity across strategically located regions, reinforcing geographic flexibility and data-sovereignty options for customers.

For data-center operators

Are you a data center looking to cloudify? aion partners with data-center providers to bring their bare-metal capacity online through aion Research — handling the full cloud layer (provisioning, orchestration, billing, customer management) while you focus on running world-class physical infrastructure.
